Osteopathic physicians (DOs) offer another form of treatment called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). OMT is a hands-on treatment where DOs use their hands to examine the back and other parts of the body such as joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles, for pain and restriction during motion that could signal an injury or impaired function. OMT can be helpful in relieving back pain as well as relieving discomfort and musculoskeletal abnormalities associated with a number of disorders including asthma, carpal tunnel syndrome, menstrual pain, sinus disorders, and migraines. A study published in The New England Journal of Medicine reported that patients receiving OMT for low back pain required significantly less medication and less physical therapy than those who didn’t receive OMT.

No, a large portion of our patients are active adults and children, “weekend warriors,” “industrial athletes,” or even those who are not physically active but have orthopedic issues.
With todays technology, we created a way for us to take care of our patients even when they are not with us in the office. This maybe through monitoring their vitals while they are on business travel, vacation, at work or sitting at home. It maybe answering questions via email, phone, video conference or even text.
Our paid plans are a way to connect with our patients and care for our patients in ways that have not traditionally been done.
Check out what our paid plans cover. We do recommend that you have health insurance, as our paid plans are not a substitute for health insurance.
We have partnered with companies such as FitBit to be able to monitor our patients while they are living their life. Being in the doctors office, gives us just a snapshot of your health. We want to be able to guide your health through your life and learn how you live to be able to improve your health by making more informed decisions about you.
For example, if you take your blood pressure daily, we can connect with you through our partnership with WearMD and be able to see your blood pressure data on a daily/weekly basis to be help us make better decisions of how to treat your blood pressure and keep it under optimum control.
With business becoming global, many people are constantly on plans, in different countries living fast paced lifes. We understand this and want to be able to take care of you while you are here and out of town.
Travel care is available for patients that have a monthly paid plan. Travel care services the needs of patients that need to prepare for overseas travel or have care needs while traveling. We will make sure your immunizations are current for the countries you are traveling to, provide dietary warnings and recommendations, and fill prescriptions based on your travel plans.
If you want to get in shape or take your fitness to the next level, we can customize a plan for you to make that happen. We want to work with you personally!
